Tucked in our beds, fast asleep the Ants of our town begin to creep. They steal into our pantry with out a peep and make off quietly with their bounty cheap.
This is great! I love their little masks and the way the one guy is hanging on by his little foot hookie thingies. The poem is excellent too--yours? My cats are the ones that steal the Cheerios--they open the cabinet and shred the cardboard and then the cellophane. My ants seem to prefer kittie kibble and toothpaste.
Nothing like opening a box of cheerios (bag of flower, sugar, pancake mix, etc)that's been in the cupboard for a few weeks and finding it infested. blech.
I always look forward to seeing what your little creatures will come up with each week. I had never heard of the term "night train", referring to the millipedes. I wish I would have known it before...I would have included it in with the Trowbridge journal post.
Ah, yes, the dreaded ant-burglars... perfectly suited for a second-story job. The little dudes in my neck of the woods are pretty brazen and work in broad daylight... they don't wait til I'm a-sleepin' to do their creepin'. Lots of personality in this art, like you always achieve.

Did you write the poem? Very cool!
Thanks for the comment on my anger photo. Haven't gotten around to the silent illustration yet. But when I do, it will relate to Halloween--scary.
