HI PPC! Thanks for stopping by! I love this illo you did...poor little guy - but, very sweet illo! Yup..the fishies in hawaii are pretty awesome..i've always wanted to see the turtles too, but they kinda scare me as well. Love your stuff as always...take care! -michelle
Clear cut forest, no? Great illustration! I almost was going to draw that too.
The reference photos I dug up on Google were so depressing. There was a picture of one clear cut forest that got named the George W. Bush memorial forest.
Oh the poor guy. I feel so sad for him. The other day our weather was very warm so I went to winterize the garden. I found an ant trail, they were happy to discover all the trees here were waiting for them.
This is very cute but sad at the same time. Great take on the subject.
Oh...this is sad! I live in a semi-rural area that's growing like crazy...so many acres of wooded land are being cleared for new construction...McMansions taking over where beautiful trees used to be. I sometimes feel as dismayed as your little ant looks. Good job!
I finally have a "Baobab" print up for sale in my spankin new Cafe Press shop...I wanted to tell you first cause I remember you liked it a lot :o) Have a beautiful day!

One thing we know is that whoever was there was not an ant! You are so clever with these ants.
poor ant. You can see from his face how depressed the view made him. Great illustration.
Well, maybe he can clear the stumps, til the earth, and start an ant farm.
Good job!
aaaawwwwww poor little thing!
Very cute!
Awwwww! I know that wilted antler look! Poor guy.
Hopefully the little ant still has high hopes...because there's always the rubber tree plant!''Cute, as always :)

When mankind kills mankind the ants will rule the world.
I hope that cheers up this little ant.

What a clever way to address this issue. I see clear cuts all over up here in the Northwest. Nice illustration, as usual.
